Our products? See for yourself, it’s a Good Design
In Egoé we are celebrating! Not one, not two but three of our products received the Good Design Award 2020. This is the oldest and still today one of the most prestigious design awards, bestowed by the Museum of Architecture and Design The Chicago Athenaeum.
Egoé went down in history of the award for its garden furniture collections Moja and Barka. The third product awarded is the car camping kit Nestbox. Behind the designs for award-winning products was none other than studio 519.
About the award
Good Design is hands down the oldest and still one of the most prestigious design awards. It is organized by the Museum of Architecture and Design The Chicago Athenaeum. Standing at the birth of the prize in 1950 were the designers Charles and Ray Eames, Russel Wright, George Nelson and Eero Saarinen. Over its existence, it has bestowed over 40,000 awards in such areas as design and innovation, sustainability, creativity and use of materials.
